Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

After i've suffered from a nonstop break outs and none of my anti-acne formula works its only then that i tried to use a mask that everyone is raving about.

Here is my review about the queen helene julep masque.

This is the first time i've used a mask to treat my pimple.  Putting too much  of this product makes the skin too tight so thinking my skin would even become more tighter i applied a generous amount of it.  It has a cooling effect on the skin when you apply it.

Even though it says on the back of the packaging  that you should apply the product to your face and neck I only apply it on my face.  Let it dry, then wash it with warm water using a cloth.  After i wash my skin, my skin feel refresh, smooth and clean.  Although it does not really get rid all of my whiteheads.  I notice whenever I use this my skin brightens.  Once a week i apply it on my entire face and the next day i only concentrate on the pimples on my chin.  It lessen the redness and shrunk the size of the pimples after two application.  Its my favorite now because it's fast at treating my big pimples and you can easily bought this at any healthy option branch near you at a very affordable price for Php300.  The only thing I didn't like is I'm having a hard time squeezing the product out and if your not careful it can be a bit messy.

Watson Haul

Lately I've been to papaya soaps but I'm still not satisfied with those soap that I've been using.  I've read in the internet some good reviews about these dermablend soap especially the papaya orange soap, they also have other variants like oatmeal.  Upon reading this good reviews I decided to buy one for myself and other things that I needed.

This is the smallest one it cost Php45 since I still have other papaya soaps that I haven't use yet, so it would take time before I could use this soap and make a review about it.

FX Flat Iron Spray Php299

 Rexona Stick Shower Clean Php62

Colgate Toothbrush 2+1 Twister with Tounge cleaner Php95

Marionnaud N32 Brush Php169.75

See you next time, ladies.

CDR-King 275g Camera Tripod

This will be a short review for my new mini tripod that I'd bought a couple of saturdays ago.  I bought it at cdr-king hypermart shaw blvd. branch near JRU.

Specifications:

Capacity: Digital camera & compact video camer
Camera interface: Universal 1/4-20 screw
Max load weight: 275g
Size: 165x35x35 mm
Weight: 45g

I brought my camcorder with me when I bought the tripod coz I'm not sure if it would fit on my cam.  Luckily the first tripod that the lady from cdr-king tried on my cam fits and that's the photo your seeing above.  For Php200 worth of tripod its not bad.  Afterall I'm only using it from time to time when I need to film something.

To use it you need to push the button(photo above) to release the screw.  After it's release rotate the screw into your camera.  Then put back the link  into the socket of tripod.

At the back of the packaging you can see different positions you could do with this mini tripod.  But for me I don't think I would do the one clinging on the post.

That's totally crazy, it might break your precious cam.  I would prefer the usual position.  I've tried the mini tripod yesterday and it looks stable, you just need to adjust the legs, enough to make sure your cam won't suddenly fall during filming.  Just rotate the screw tightly for a steady cam position.  My verdict, it's not that bad, you can really use it, the only downside is they don't have replacement and warranty for this product.  I don't know why.  I mean all stuff that you buy should have a warranty or return policy.  Anyways, I would use this tripod for my cheap cam but not for expensive one since it would cost much if you lose your expensive cam compare to the amount that you spend on this cheap tripod.  Buy this at your own risks.

By the way I'm using V5PH3L cdr-king camcorder which I've been using for almost two years.  And I can say it's pretty decent cam and I haven't experienced any problem yet.  I'll come out with a review about this next time.

How about you, do you have any experience using a cdr-king tripod?  I'd like to know from you.

Nature's Republic Jeju Cactus 90 Soothing Gel

Hello gals it's my first nature's republic haul, though I only bought two products, still I'm excited to share with you my first haul for the first month of 2013.  It was my second time to visit Nature Republic at SM Megamall.  I was planning to buy their best seller Aloe Vera 92% soothing gel, but sadly for me it was out of stock again for the second time I went there, uuughh....Instead the SA offered their very new Jeju Cactus 90 Soothing Gel.  At first I didn't want to buy it, but the SA insist it's pretty much the same with the aloe vera soothing gel, the cactus soothing gel also prevents redness and has a cooling effects too.  At the end I gave in and buy the product anyway.  And I also included to my little purchase their nail polish in color waltz, since I fell in love with it when I tried it in my nail.  Good thing they have tester for nail polishes.

The cactus soothing gel cost Php300 and their color waltz nail polish is pretty cheap at Php65.  So there, I hope you find my haul interesting.  If it can be called a haul since it's just two items.  Please watch out for individual review of this product especially the Jeju Cactus 90 Soothing Gel.

Bye..bye for now!

Random Haul

Hi everyone, I know January is already over but here's my haul last January 7 at sm megamall.  Not all is related to beauty stuffs, but I included it anyway.  Just wanna share everything since I'm still very new at blogging and I wanted to brag a little, just kidding.  Here they are:

Pure Beauty Pomegranate Antioxidant  serum(30ml) Php399

I'll try this baby once I've finished using my Eskinol+dalacin C formula,  I don't want to try too many product on my face because my face can't take it.  I'll try one at a time.  This serum is the only cheapest I could find at SM Watson.  When I saw this at pure beauty kiosk, I quickly grabbed it since it's written in their kiosk that it's pure beauty's best seller among their products.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque(8 oz.) Php329 @Healthy Options

I've been wanting to have this masque since everyone had tried it already and they all claim that it's really good in removing even the deepest dirt.  See my next post about this masque when I finally try it.

Pure beauty treatment hair mask w/camellia seed oil from japan(200g) Php139

I'm looking for a hair masque and this what I've found.  Also from the affordable korean brand Pure Beauty.  Hope it works on my very stubborn hair.  Actually this will be my first time to use a hair masque.  I just use the usual shampoo and conditioner to take care of my hair.

That's all for my beauty hauls, since my real intention when I visited the mall is to find an external dvd writer for my laptop.  The dvd drive on my laptop suddenly stopped reading files and it's a hassle to find parts plus I have to pay for the service and I find it pricey.  So I opted to buy an external dvd writer since it's more cheap and easy to find at the mall.

I'll be doing individual reviews on this so please check it out.

So here are my other haul not related to beauty.

Samsung Slim Portable Dvd Writer Php11450 @silicon valley, cyberzone

Norton Internet Security 2013 Php1150@Data Blitz, cyberzone

 Rhea Vitamin C (500mg) Php130 @mercury drug,starmall

Please check out my next post soon.

Eskinol+Dalacin C Cheap Solution For Acne

Hello ladies, I just want to share my acne solution for over two months already.  I've been experiencing cystic acne late last year and I Google for a cheap solution for cystic acne and voila, I've read a lot of bloggers using eskinol and dalacin C capsule and it really works for them.  It's not that i haven't use eskinol before.  And from what I've read this formula had been popular for quite a long time.  It's only now that I've came to know about this, since it's the first time I'm experiencing this horrible acne that keeps popping one after another, I've already had acne marks on some part of my face and I'm just so.........not liking it.

I did not waste time, right away I take home with me a 225 ml of Eskinol pimple fighting facial deep cleanser with dermaclear formula it cost Php74.75 and a 300mg of dalacin C capsule worth Php85.75 at watson, see it would just only cost you less than two hundred pesos.  Put the powder content of the capsule into the eskinol and then shake it so it would dissolve the powder.  Use it twice a day, after you take a bath in the morning and before you sleep at night for severe acne.  If your just experiencing mild acne use it once a day every night.  It can dry your skin after you use it, so be sure to apply a good moisturizer.  When using this don't expose yourself too much in the sun or make sure to apply sunblock with high spf and with pa+++ to avoid darkening.

As for me it really diminished my cystic acne, now i'm about to finish this formula, I still experience break outs but it's only little pimples every now and then and it disappears after a week.  So it's not a big problem anymore.  It's says on the back of the label that eskinol dermaclear lightens pimple marks,  I notice that my pimple marks ligthen a little bit but not totally.  It's still noticeable maybe i would try a peeling cream to totally lighten my blemishes.  There are times when i applied this i feel a stinging sensation but it diminishes after 2 or 5 seconds.  All in all i could say it's worth a try for only less than 200 pesos, though i'm not saying it would work for everyone.  But you can try it if it would work for you, considering it's cheap.

When after you finish a bottle of this formula and you don't have severe acne anymore, that's the time to stop using it, because i've read from a lot of blog that it diminishes its effect when you always use it.  And you should let your face rest from different kinds of treatment when your acne problems had past.  After that you can use your usual face routine.

Well that's all ladies.  See you again for the next post.  So, how about you, do you have any cheap solution for acne?  If you have, I'd like to hear from you.

SM Supermarket HAUL

I was at the SM Supermarket buying stuff that we needed at home like toiletries, detergent etc.  When I saw a lot of people in this aisle located at  the end part of the store, right about when you're done buying your usual needs.  And so I waited for the people to left to look what are they looking at.  and I saw this products that is made in Japan called Daiso.  I've read about this Daiso (or more popularly known here at Philippines as SAIZEN) on many blogs and I'm actually seeing one only it's a one aisle of cheap Japan made product.  I know they already have different branches here in the Philippines.  The nearest to my home is at Robinson galleria which I've read is the biggest branch.  Although it's not in my budget to buy other things aside from the usual,  but I saw these things that I've been wanting to buy only it's expensive in SM Department store.  Here are some of my Daiso haul I can't resist to buy.
